Ontario Genomics’ BioCreate program is open to small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in southern Ontario seeking to commercialize genomics and engineering biology enabled products and/or technologies in the health, food and agriculture, and cleantech sectors who have achieved a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 4+. BioCreate will provide funding, access to mentorship, and business support to enable companies to raise additional financing to achieve commercial outcomes.

SCI ADOPT 2025 Request for Proposals
Praxis is a Vancouver-based research institute leading global collaboration in spinal cord injury (SCI) research, innovation and care. Praxis accelerates the translation of discoveries and best practices into improved treatments for people living with SCI. SCI Adopt funds the costs of early clinical adoption of newly approved (or equivalent) health technologies by Health Canada. SCI Adopt offers up to $100,000 in funding to support technology adoption projects/pilots and evidence generation activities.
The RFP is intended to support the adoption of health technology that is market-ready, has commercial viability, and demonstrates improved health outcomes for people with SCI. The health technology must have received Health Canada approval or equivalent. Proposals that support the adoption of health technologies that have received Health Canada approval, or equivalent, to enter the Canadian market within the past 5 years (since January 1, 2020) will be given priority.
Deadline for proposals: July 27.
